It’s no secret that I’ve had some serious struggles with depression over the past year, and this song showed up at some point during a low time and it made me cry so hard because it just… connected with me. It’s both sad and like a big hug at the same time. It’s not as light-hearted as some of my recent songs, but I can’t keep these powerful lyrics, and the beautiful music that comes with it, away from you, lovelies. <3
