I am so thrilled that the final book in Black Light Season One is live! Livia Grant started off this incredible world set around a highly exclusive D.C. BDSM club called ‘Black Light’ almost a year ago with her book ‘Black Light: Rocked‘. Every book in the series is a standalone, and you may have read the one I wrote ‘Black Light: Exposed‘. Then we had the very exciting boxset of naughty novellas ‘Black Light: Valentine Roulette‘ where we met lots of characters… including Khloe and Ryder. Their story started off HOT and DIRTY, but then the night ended and Ryder and Khloe walked away from each other. ‘Black Light: Rescued’ picks up with these two and at over 100k words, you know this is going to be one hell of a sexy, fun, emotional rollercoaster ride! What else would you expect from someone as talented as Livia Grant? (I love this chick!)

Black Light: Rescued (Black Light Book 6)

Sex… Spies… Stalkers… Stars

Three incredible hours was all it took to form a bond that refuses to be broken.

Saying goodbye after Valentine Roulette had crushed them both, but Ryder Helms is a realist.  He knows his CIA covert career will never allow him to be with a superstar like Khloe Monroe. Deep undercover in Russia, Ryder has done unspeakable things to prove his loyalty to the Volkov Bratva. When faced with a morality test no man should have to take, he’s forced to burn years of undercover work, earning himself very powerful and dangerous enemies who will stop at nothing to exact their revenge.

Now an A-list Hollywood actress, Khloe discovers that with fame comes danger. When she is uncertain whom she can trust, she turns to her friends, Chase and Jaxson, for help. She didn’t expect them to bring in an experienced bodyguard. A dominant who had the power to command her body, and crush her heart.

Discovering Khloe was in danger is all it takes to bring Ryder to her side, but was his presence putting her at even more risk?   It terrifies him to think of what the Volkovs would do if they got their hands on the actress who had stolen his heart.

He knew one thing for certain.  No one got to hurt Khloe Monroe but himself.

The urge to hold her was undeniable. He didn’t fight it, pulling her into his arms. For a brief moment, she let her guard down, relaxing into his body, molding them together so tightly he was unprepared for her to shove him away, losing his balance and almost knocking over the bike at his back.

“How do I know you aren’t the stalker? This is a pretty remote location. How do I know this isn’t where you’d planned to take me?” Her voice quavered with emotion.

He didn’t know if he should laugh or yell. “You must think I’m the stupidest criminal alive. Driving up to take you with thousands of witnesses, most with cameras snapping. Then stopping for supplies at a well-lit stop with security cameras everywhere. And then dropping in to say hi to the family on the way to my hideout.” He took a step closer and her eyes widened as he added, “You think I need to kidnap you to take you to my own cabin to do things to your body I’ve already done and could have again at the snap of my fingers?”

At least fear had vanished from her expression, leaving misplaced anger. Khloe scoffed. “You have a pretty high opinion of yourself if you think you’ll snap your fingers and I’ll fall to my knees, under your spell again. Look around. There is no roulette wheel here tonight, and we sure as hell aren’t at Black Light.”

His patience was at an end. Ryder yanked her against his body, twining his fingers through her long, messy mane and snapping her head back. He towered above her, so close he could feel her gasping for breath against his cheek.

“This is not the time for this. Or the place. Like it or not, you’re stuck with me, Princess.”

“And why is that?” she asked breathlessly.

“Because I’m the best person to protect you right now. Trust me when I say that as long as you listen to me, I’m not gonna let anyone hurt you. Period.”

“Why the sudden interest in my welfare? You walked out, making it clear you didn’t give a shit. You said it had all been a game.” Her vulnerability was back.

“Well, game time is over.”

Her breaths were sporadic. She had the exact same hurt look on her face that haunted him when he closed his eyes at night. The one she’d had just before she’d left Black Light. She wiggled, trying to free herself from his grasp while shouting, “Why now, Ryder?”

Crushing her to him was easy. She was tiny, but he admired her spunk as she struggled against him. Like the bastard he was, the harder she fought, the harder his cock grew in his leathers, until lust demanded he subdue her like the dominant he was.

His lips crashed down on her, taking what he needed. His tongue conquered her mouth as his free hand cupped her perfect ass, yanking her against his body, ensuring she felt the erection straining for release.

Once she melted like a candle in his arms, it took every ounce of his will power to pull out of that kiss. There would be plenty of time for that after he got her to real safety. His body screamed with need, recognizing the proximity to his kryptonite. They spent several seconds looking into each other’s eyes by the bright moonlight before she pressed him again, this time with a whisper. “Why now, Ryder?”

The urge to tell her the truth couldn’t be denied. “You really want to know?”

“I need to know.”

“Because. No one gets to hurt you but me.”
